Our goal is to comprehend atrocities and the political dynamics surrounding the use of force across all levels, from local communities to international arenas. We explore strategies for better anticipating, preventing, and halting organized violence, as well as ways in which external parties can assist in restoring order and peace.

We collaborate extensively with practitioners within governments, international bodies, and civil society organizations, both in Belgium and internationally. Our work aims to stimulate significant debates and foster learning to enhance policymaking which, in turn, contributes to saving lives.
